After a comprehensive search for a national property management firm, we decided to look somewhere completely different—in the mirror.
As the old business adage professes—find a niche and fill it. That's exactly what MMRE founder Mark Rokos did in recent years. While working with a Fortune 200 company, Mark was charged with finding a full-service property management firm that could handle a variety of property types throughout the country. And not just in big cities—but in small towns too.
After a long, exhaustive North American search, Mark could not find a single company offering full-service property management (leasing, maintenance, accounting, etc) that could manage a multi-state portfolio and cover the unique blend of property types within urban and rural locations.
Mark's blue chip client needed a reputable management firm that could ensure all of their properties (regardless of size or product type) were managed with consistent policy and procedures. They needed a company that could provide property owners with timesaving services, while significantly reducing the many risks associated with property management.
With a strong background in real estate, and an equally strong relationship with his large corporate client, Mark launched MultiMarket Real Estate Services.
Within two years, he fully developed his business model, infrastructure, software and staffing, and is currently expanding both locally and nationally.
