Who has control over how my budget is spent? Do I have a say?

You have complete control over the property budget. MMRE doesn't spend money without your approval. We will inspect each property and work with you to develop an approved budget that meets your individual business needs.

What is HUD (Housing and Urban Development) and how does it affect me?

Part of HUD's mission is to increase access to housing that is free from discrimination. As part of that goal, they define and enforce Fair Housing Regulations at the federal and state levels. Discrimination laws can be complex and ever changing. Failure to follow these laws can result in governmental prosecution as well as associated civil suits from tenants. MMRE's managers are licensed and participate in frequent educational opportunities to ensure we are abreast of changes to housing and discrimination laws.

I own a few duplexes. Do I need to follow Fair Housing Laws?

Yes. Any owner with four or more rental units is required to follow federal and state guidelines.

Who takes the emergency calls at midnight?

We have emergency maintenance professionals on call 24/7. Tenants can get immediate maintenance help by calling an 800 number any time, day or night.

Can I count on MMRE to keep me abreast of local market conditions that may affect my commercial properties?

Yes. We consistently monitor market conditions such as vacancy, absorption and lease rates for various classes of commercial property in order to best advise our clients on their business plans.

What accounting reports do I receive and how often?

If you have multiple locations/properties, you will receive one consolidated report to view your entire portfolio at-a-glance as well as detailed reports for each specific property. These reports can be issued either weekly or monthly depending on your needs.

While reports are tailored to your specific needs, we have a wide range of general reports, such as income statements, aged receivables, expense distribution and others.

What is your method of marketing vacancies in various cities?
